This aluminum Impact 8' Air-cushioned Light Stand is 4-section light support with sure-twist section locks.
If you forget to tighten any section with your light mounted, the light slowly descends, thanks to the air-cushioned action. This useful feature saves equipment and fingers from harm during busy photo sessions.

At first, I was kind of skeptical about this light stand. Actually, when I received it and tested it. I was blow-en away about the quality. It is very good for the price of this item. I used Ezybox 30" by Lastolite attach with my 580 EX II and pockwizard Flex TT5. I works like a charm. The only drawback is a air-cushion, you can't fold it quick if you on to go, but it does protect your gears if you forgot to tighten it. Other then that, no compliments.

This stand is about what I expected for the price. I will only use this for small lights (anything smaller than a 1K). The construction is aluminum, with cheap plastic knobs. The supposed 5/8" baby pin on top seemed small so my light when mounted had a little play. Make sure you bag this one, the floor spread isn't very big. Overall a very cheap stand that will work with small lights.

I use these to hold up my LED lights for weddings and they are great! I would buy at least the 8 foot stands just in case your subject happens to be up on a stage or altar. They are pretty basic, solid and super portable. I have NOT put anything heavy on the top of these so I don't know how they would handle under a heavier load.

This is a nice, lightweight light stand with air-cushioing. It folds up nice and compact. It sin't designed for heavy items. I would not try putting anything beyond the recommended weight on this stand, but trust it up to its capacity. The tightening knobs are easy to grip and can do their job without having to be tightened too hard.

Great little on the go light stand. I wouldn't use it for heavier strobes, but for flashes, umbrellas or reflectors, it's a nifty little stand. Solid and the air-cushioning is great when my hands are full and I can adjust it lower with one hand without my fingers getting smashed.
