What I like about this stool is that it has no castors - it stays where you put it; and it has 10" of vertical adjustability, compared to office task stools that usually have only about 5".
The first stool I received sagged about halfway down when an adult sat on it when fully elevated. I returned it and the second one only sags about an inch, which I think is about normal for air cushioned adjustable stools.
Some reviewers of this stool complain that it comes apart too easily. The stool I returned would not come apart at all - I had to ship it back fully assembled.
I like this stool fully elevated for portraits of children, because I don't need to get so low, and because it is too high for them to easily get down, so they stay put.
The build-quality of the stool is good. The stool itself is unphotogenic. If the stool will show in the photograph, a nice bar-stool is a better choice.

Nice posing stool. Seems well enough constructed. Time will tell how it holds up but I don't expect any problems.

Comments about Impact Posing Stool - 20-30" (51x76.2cm):
The stool came in quickly and was very easy to assemble as it required no tools to accomplish. I am a little on the heavy side :) and it seems to support my weight well. It spins very smoothly and my nephew enjoys playing on it (but I don't recommend for that purpose). Over all it seems to be a great value to me.

Comments about Impact Posing Stool - 20-30" (51x76.2cm):
This is a pretty well built and durable stool for the money. The hydraulics work great as well. There was not much assembly required, it only took a couple of minutes to assemble. Great little stool overall.

Comments about Impact Posing Stool - 20-30" (51x76.2cm):
I use this stool for portraits. It allows a nice two person pose, one sitting and one standing with hands on shoulders. It adjusts so the sitter's feet can touch the ground. Sturdy construction, feels like it will last for years. There is no foot rail, so leg height variations are not an option.

Comments about Impact Posing Stool - 20-30" (51x76.2cm):
I use this stool for portraiture. Wh.en I received it, it was easily assembled and it works great. It has a hydraulic handle that enables the user to easily raise or lower the stool. Usually, I have the subject put it at the level I request. A couple people have said it needs more padding, but they are usually not on the stool for extended periods of time. Overall, it works great.

Great adjustable stool for posing. Sturdy with solid feet and no wheels so it stays put. The lever and post are robust with no signs of wobble. There is not foot bar so a posing table will be needed for some poses.

I've just received the stools. They were super easy to put together. I unpacked everything, then put it all out to organize. At first I couldn't find all the parts, but that's because it was already partially assembled. I thought that was great

Is sturdy, good height range, not expensive. My only wish, is if the seat could be dismantled for easier transporting in a vehicle. Once assembled, it's together for life from what I can tell. This is minor though, the stool overall is great.
