Comments about Rycote Standard Hole Softie Windscreen with 19-22mm (0.74-0.87") Hole Size:

This windscreen was not inexpensive, but it's quality is obvious. Silky smooth fibers, high-quality "rubbery" core tubing, even a brush for keeping it looking good!

On top of that, it performs. Amazing results with my Auto-Tecnica shotgun mic. Eliminates virtually ALL intruding noises outdoors.

    I made the right choice.

    Classy.

Comments about Rycote Standard Hole Softie Windscreen with 19-22mm (0.74-0.87") Hole Size:

I purchased this to use with a Sennheiser ME 67, when I am recording natural sounds outdoors. It works as advertised, reducing noise from light breezes to practically imperceptible levels. I often record in situations in which a simple foam windshield is not enough, but this thing makes it possible for me to get outdoors more and to be more productive. I was recording in Yellowstone Park last May and found that I just did not have to think about wind for most of the time I was there. I am finding that the Softie interferes so little with the sound that I just leave it on the mic all the time now, whether I am indoors or out.
