I bought this bag to use with my Manfrotto 055CXPRO4 tripod and 498RC2 ballhead. That configuration fits ideally into this bag. For [$] this bag is an awesome deal. Some other manufacturers charge up to 3 times more for bags with less features. The 3 things I like about this bag:1) It's padded, unlike a lot of other bags in this price range. I also think the padding is the right amount, not too much and not too little. 2) The bag also has a shoulder strap which is great when walking or hiking and also carry handles to carry it like a briefcase if you wish. 3) The last thing that I like about the bag is that it is not too ostentatious. It looks classy but understated, so as to not attract a lot of attention to your gear. [...] Overall, a great value and an underrated product. Buy it if it meets your requirements.

This bag fit my new Manfrotto tripod nicely, although it fit better with the head removed. I would characterize this case as being one of those "good-enough-for-what-paid" items. I could have bough the Manfrotto case, but it was horribly expensive. This one was much less expensive, although probably not as good. But, I am satisfied because the features for the money trade-offs were fair and it is a good bag. Now, if you are a pro and you use your tripod all over the world, don't be a cheapskate and buy this bag, buy the Manfrotto (or the manufacturer for the brand of tripod) or some other professional quality bag. If you are a person using your tripod occasionally or you travel in the car and want something to keep it from getting scratched up, then go with this one.

Comments about Vidpro TC27 Padded Tripod Case (Black):
This is a very sturdy light weight bag and the tripod and ball head fit well in the bag. It has an extra medium size pocket on the outside of the bag that can hold other items. I love how it is padded and it has both a short set of straps and a shoulder strap. It may also be water repellent not sure but it feels like it might be.

This is a good deal. I should have measured my tripod before ordering because it is too small and I was just guessing since it was so cheap. I will use it for light stands or something.

Comments about Vidpro TC27 Padded Tripod Case (Black):
I ordered one of these along with a tripod and head after reading that it was "for Tripod with Head, up to 27" Long" DO NOT believe it. It is about 25.5" if you stretch it to the max. 25.5" is the maximum size of the zipper opening with little room to actually get the tripod in. I contacted BH who was kind enough to send another at no charge thinking it was just mismarked. But the second one is exactly the same size as the first.
So this is a good tri-pod bag as long as yours is 24" or less. Possibly 24.5" BUT NO MORE!!!
I ended up ordering from somewhere else and will use this for a few lowel light stands I had laying around.

I used this to put in my Manfrotto XPROB and 496RC2. Although the sum of their heights is just less than 27", it does not fit in the bag unless the ball head is turned 90 degrees.

I like this for my tripod, it`s strong & made of good padded material.
It has a thick shoulder strap & also has a hand strap, which you can also just grab by the handles easily.
A good product, happy with it,looks like it will last a long time.

My tri-monpod was just at 27 in but the zipper did not open enough for it to fit had to go bigger. So did get to use it and unable to determine its quailty.

Lightweight and well made. Shoulder strap as well as handles gives you a variety of ways to carry the bag. Small, outside, zippered compartment handy for carrying hex tools and quick release plates. I used this recently on a trp to the city and it made carrying my tripod a cinch.

Comments about Vidpro TC27 Padded Tripod Case (Black):
I use this carrying case mostly just to tote my tripod around from class to class and on small trips. It fits my tripod nicely and as my tripod is not too heavy the unpadded shoulder strap has not given me any trouble yet. I could imagine with a slightly heavier tripod the strap might be uncomfortable. The hand-carrying straps are well secured around the bag and it's very nice to have both carrying options. It's also roomy enough for me to throw a few extension cords in there as well when I'm shooting with a light kit.

I have Mainfrotto 190XPROB, and also Mainfrotto ball head (RC2). Both fit to the case, but the ball head needs to be in 90 degree position, otherwise the fit is tight. Construction is not perfect but for the price and casual use, it will do just fine, and a great value!
