This is a great all purpose bag, not just for tripods although that was the reason I purchased it. I am considering buying another for my light stands. This is not what I consider a heavily padded bag so using it to check a tripod onto a airplane is risky, but it certainly has enough padding (touch more than just the canvas alone) to protect it while being carried in the trunk of my car or from site to site. It appears well made. Note however, that the zipper does not extend over any end and stops an inch or so shy of each end. My tripod measures 33 inches long. The zippered opening makes it tight getting in and out of the 35 inch bag. Once inside, plenty of room.

Although this bag is made with nice, thick canvas material, it has a poorly constructed zipper that seems cheap and probably not able to withstand much zipping open and closed under normal wear and tear field conditions. It also does not fully fit the Manfrotto tripod with 501 or 503HDV head without having to remove the head's pan handle so the bag will zip fully shut. A couple of inches on the top end of the bag would have been nice, and more solid zipper construction and this bag would have made a few more stars.

It is been great to far. I haven't had it that long. I am a wedding photographer so I needed an inexpensive carrier for my light stands. This was the right price and looked durable. S far it is true and I am early happy with this purchase.

Used to transport Manfrotto 055XPROB as carry-on baggage. Light weight, low bulk, nice outside pocket. Zipper broke after about six flights. Seams pulled apart at top of zipper closure.

Decent case.. Wish it was a lil more padded but hey it was under $ so I can't complain really hahaIt does the job.. eventually I will upgrade to a better case though it will certainly do for now. Just don't throw your tripod around in this case. while carrying it it can handle some light dings as you walk with it though I wouldn't trust it beyond that.I needed something to fit my tripod in that would make transportation easy and give atleast some protection from dents and scratches during transport. This fits that need for now.

Great bag for basically nothing.
Not a lot of padding, but I'm generally very careful with my equipment regardless, so it's more than enough for me.
Lightweight and durable.

Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case:
You absoulutely can't expect much for [$], but this exceeded my expectations. Nice case just to protect my Manfrotto tripod, with room to spare. Good for putting the equipment in the trunk. It's probably not waterproof, but will shield the tripod from dampness.

Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case:
The bags that come with the VT4000 are useless. You absolutely need a bag to replace them. This is a good cheap option for a super cheap tripod. It's probably won't last long with regular use though...

Good price and quality material for the case. However, be gentle with the zipper. We use them for equipment check out at our Univeristy Art Department. If you are a bit more gentle than students the zipper might last a while. If you are putting a lot of abuse on your case avoid these. Pay a little extra for a high quality zipper.

I am not using this for a tripod actually. I am using this lightly padded case to carry three 'Slider' that are part of my location Video kit/ The bag is large enoubg to stow my 35", 24" and 12" PortaDolly® sliders. See my review of the Domke Wrap since that what my 12" slider goes into.

Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case:
I needed something to keep my small light stands and monopod from rolling around in my car. This case was the perfect solution. It holds 2 light stands, 2 umbrella holders (off the stands), and my monopod with no problem. Zipper is not the highest quality so don't stress it out too much. Handles can carry the weight and the shoulder strap is great when I'm carrying several items. For under $15 you can't find a better bag

Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case:
You generally get what you pay for and this tripod bag is even better than I expected for the dirt cheap price. I wouldn't bring it to bigger shoots or put it on a plane in this case because the padding is pretty thin, but it is perfect for small, controlled shoots such as weddings or interviews.
