An ideal portrait lens, providing the ideal perspective for head and shoulder portraits, or other areas such landscape photography. The Hasselblad HC 150mm f/3.2's focal length offers a moderate, but clearly visible, telephoto effect and the shallow depth-of-field can be used to set distracting backgrounds off-focus. Features internal focus mechanism, fast AF, and is ideal for lower light conditions.

Comments about Hasselblad Telephoto 150mm f/3.2 HC Autofocus Lens for H Cameras:

I have used the lens primarily in landscape photography so far. To test it, I put it through its paces taking images of ironweed flowers which have many small petals in rounded clusters. This is a challenge for focus. I found that hand held, even at high shutter speeds, the lens with the camera is sufficiently heavy and sufficiently sensitive that the focus was often slightly off. The focus got significantly better when the lens and camera were on a tripod. On a tripod, I had no issues with the focus and the bokeh was very smooth and nice.

This lens is very easy to handle and optically excellent. I use it primarily for head shots and to give the models face some separation from the background. I highly recommend it.
