Comments about Backdrop Alley 10x12' Muslin Background - Blue Tie-Dye:
I wanted this mostly for a dark background in portrait photographs. I expected to like it, and my expectations were more than met. Even without ironing, the wrinkles did not show. The size of the backdrop is large enough that the subject can sit or stand several feet in front of the background, allowing depth of field to add to the effect that the background was not a focus of attention. My red-headed grand daughter stood out beautifully in the photo I took. The photo lab questioned whether this might be an illegal copy of a professional studio portrait. Unwittingly, he testified to the quality of the entire picture.
The size is good, but might be a bit large for home use. I would have had to move furniture around in my home; however, in a studio or other spacious room it works very well.

I use this background for a wide variety of portrait shots and am easily able to control the brightness (from dark blue to light) by simple flash adjustment. I intend to buy others like it.

I use the muslin background for portraits-closeup & full length. I hit it with a blue jell and it looks very rich. I can also change the look by bunching it and using a few closepins on the backside.

First time owner of a muslin background (tie-dye blue) and it was 1) a hit with my business partner and clients 2) more than my expectation of quality 3) didn't expect it came with a cloth bag of the same material and coloring 4) looks great thru my D200 and 5) easy to use. I will purchase another product thru B&H of Backdrop-Alley's in the future.
