Manfrotto studs are 35 mm long. Lowel and other professional studs are 40mm. This CHEAP receiver is 25 mm deep. (just under an inch) Therefore it does not fit on any pro stands or studs. It sits on top at a funny angle and is all set to fall off and break your equipment. Actually it does not fit on a Lowel stud. Too small internal diameter. Also the 5 I purchased look nothing like this picture.
I guess Delta saved one cent per item. Great work guys!

It's perfect to attach a 5/8 sized stud receiver to the yoke of a cheap 500w work light. With this adapter you can now use all the professional stands and mounting options the pros enjoy with your cheap 'home improvement' lights.
The only draw back I see is that it's too shallow to except the full length of a professional 5/8 baby pin, which you would want for safety if used on a heavy or awkward DIY light fixture.
It's the most affordable 5/8 to yoke adapter I have found to give cheap light fixtures pro mounting capabilities. - JC
