Imagine having your A/V components (your satellite receiver, DVR, DVD player or a camcorder) in one room and the ability to watch them in another room, even multiple rooms, without running wires. Or being able to listen to your computer's MP3 collection on a pair of powered speakers in another room? Terk's Leapfrog LF-30S is a wireless transmitter/receiver system that does just that.
It also gives you the ability to control the A/V source from the other room, so you can actually change the channels on your satellite receiver from the second TV's location.

The LF-30S operates very well delivering a very fine quality wireless standard definition AV picture to a remote TV.
A major warning is in order however. It will not work successfully on any channel in the presence of a 802.11n wireless computer network since both are using the same RF spectrum.
The computer network will cause rolling color bars in the video and generate noise blasts in the audio.
If operation in the presence of a wireless computer network is required, a product operating at 5.8 GHZ is suggested.

Comments about Terk Technologies LF-30S Wireless A/V Transmitter and Receiver:
I ran the product less than 80 feet (advertised up to 150) and I couldn't even hear the music that should have been playing (all static). Despite the 4 channel options to avoid interference, a wireless area network renders this completely useless. Very disappointing considering we're in an age where WiFi is common place.

Comments about Terk Technologies LF-30S Wireless A/V Transmitter and Receiver:
This is a waste of money. The device cannot do that job as advertised. The signal only needed to travel across 15 feet of space, you the picture and sound would not remain static free for more than a few seconds at a time.
All the instructions were followed exactly per the recommendations.

I am very disappointed with this product. It did not function (all static)even when hooked up in the same room with the transmitter and reciever unit less than 10 feet away. Waste of money.

Comments about Terk Technologies LF-30S Wireless A/V Transmitter and Receiver:
It took awhile to configure it properly as not to interfere with other equipment (wireless headphones and WiFi), running at the same, 2.4 Ghz. Changing channels resolve it. Otherwise it works fine. But, it beats running cable!

Comments about Terk Technologies LF-30S Wireless A/V Transmitter and Receiver:
The Transmitter/Receiver system was easy to install. Every few days I have to reposition the transmitter or change the channel of the transmitter to avoid static. Also, even with no static, the sound is not as clear as with a coaxial cabel, but not too bad. The system did work for my purpose and saved me from having to run a cable.
