Comments about Bushnell Advanced Tripod with 3-Way Head:
I use my new Bushnell Tripod ALL THE TIME, its a very sturdy/heavy duty tripod. It works well for my needs but wish that it was a little more easily collapsable/easy to set up. I find that it takes too long to set up and collapse. Other than that, it works well! I'm not sure if I recommend this product.

Have now used the tripod twice in the field and find it very easy to set up and very stable. I would love a handy carrying case for it.

Comments about Bushnell Advanced Tripod with 3-Way Head:
I am an artist and use this tripod for plein air painting, attaching a pochade box to the mount. This thing is big and very sturdy. It is heavier than many tripods and a little to long to fit in a large day-pack, but the price and stability are worth it. The independent legs expand very wide and I can't imagine any problems with wind or un-even surfaces. Best tripod for the money. Note: this mount does not have a quick release which is more stable but more of a hassle to mount and remove your device.

Comments about Bushnell Advanced Tripod with 3-Way Head:
For the price, I don't see how you can beat it! The tripod carries enough weight to be (for my use) very steady. One interesting thing is the construction of the center column. To flip upside down, you unscrew the two halves, flip around and reassemble. The point being that the 'stop' on it is -not- removable. If you loose hold of the column the stop will catch it. Nice touch.
Note that it uses thumbscrews to secure the legs, not lever locks. Also it is not a quick release head. If these are important features for you, go with the 'titanium advanced'.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of the Bushnell Advanced Tripod with 3-Way Head. Fits perfectly with the Bushnell Elite Spotting Scope, which I bought at the same time.[...]I think B & H website and description of all products are of high class.
