This kit consists of a Neutral Density (ND.8) filter, an MC Protector filter and a soft case.
Neutral Density (ND.8) Filter
Neutral Density filters have several uses and offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results. ND filters appear grey and reduce the amount of light reaching the film. They have no effect on color balance. They have four main uses: 1) To enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with high speed films, to record movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, or cars. 2) To decrease depth of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate subjects from their background. 3) To decrease the effective ISO of high speed film (above ISO 400) and allow it to be used outdoors in bright situations. 4) To allow cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which could cause overexposure
MC Protector
Haze(UV) filters are wise initial investments. They help protect your valuable investment from dust, moisture and scratches, which can lead to costly repairs. If desired they can be left on the lens at all times for protection. Haze filters provide additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light which can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details. Ultraviolet filters allow you to correct for the UV effect to varying degrees.

Comments about Canon FS-H37U 37MM Filter Set - Netural Density (ND.8) and MC Protector Filters:
Quality of this product is excellent, however it is unfortunate that there are no lens caps included with the package. Each time I want to use them I have to remove and replace them carefully as to get no smudges on the glass, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a MC protector because I want it attached all the time to protect the lens.
You can leave them attached to the camera if you want, however I am sure you will get fingerprints all over the front.
I will be looking at buying a universal 37mm lens cap or a canon one if I can find it. But soon I will be buying a wide angle lens which does come with a lens cap :).
