The Zeiss Protective Jacket with carrying strap is made to protect the Zeiss Diascope spotting scopes against dust dirt and the elements. The jacket allows you to conveniently carry your scope off of the tripod upon your shoulder, and when you attach it to your tripod head you can view through the scope without having to remove the scope from the case. This saves invaluable field time and allows you to maintain better control over your scope so that it does not get damaged or suffer from enormous torque while being on top of the tripod.

I purchased a new spotting scope and decided that I needed to protect it while it was in use. Ordered a Zeiss protective jacket and was plesently supprised at how easy it was to use the on line ordering system. Considering I live on the other side of the world in New Zealand I was also plesently supprised at how quickly it arrived. The jacket is well made and will do what is required of it. There is only one small issue and that is that the zips sometimes catch in the fabrick on the inside of the jacket, an easily fixed problem. Over all very happy with the purchase.
