Comments about QuikLok MP850 Plastic Spring-Loaded Mic Clip:

A very inexpensive mic clip. It is cheap and made of hard plastic so eventually it will probably break. Having said that, I understood this when I purchased it. I needed a cheap clip to hold a wire at the end of a boom and this was my solution. The clip itself does feel flimsy when you squeeze to open it. It probably would be easy to break if one was to aggressively use the clip but if one is gentle, I imagine that the clip should last some time.

If you are going to be taking a mic on and off the clip frequently look for something more rugged but if your mic is light and you are simply setting it and forgetting it, then with care, this clip will do fine.

You will need a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter if you need to connect it to a 3/8" boom and stand.

You will also need an Allen Wrench / Hex Key to adjust the tilt as there is no thumbscrew.
