    Pros

    • Protect the speaker units

    Cons

    • Don't stay in place
    • Tedious to apply

    Best Uses

    • As intended

Comments about Wax Guards for Shure E2c Earphones (10 Pack):

These wax guards go over the speaker tubes to prevent ear wax getting into the speakers. These guards are difficult to keep on. As you push the buds into the ear they always seem to get displaced. They are difficult to put back so I need to replace them quite often. This is more a nuisance than anything else. I wonder how essential they are. Perhaps one day I'll leave them off and see if the tubes really do get bunged up with wax. I would give the guards a 5, they are what they need to be. I give the design a 1. Averaging this out I give them a three.

        Indespensible

Comments about Wax Guards for Shure E2c Earphones (10 Pack):

These are essential. I bought my in-ear monitors used, and they didn't come with wax-guards. By the end of practice I couldn't hear anything at all eventhough I had cleaned my ears prior to using them and there was barely any wax over the holes that I could tell. I cleaned them out with a needle threader of all things and bought the wax guards. No problems at all since then!
