This is a Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit. It includes barndoors, bulbs, gel frame, gels, stands and an LB-30 soft kit case.
With its high-intensity #2 reflector and prismatic glass, the tiny focusable Pro-light is more efficient than a Fresnel of equal wattage, yet it gives an exquisite even light, with Fresnel-like shadow quality. It can be used as a low-level key or accent light, fill light (with diffusion), or backlight. In addition to a wide variety of customizing accessories, its versatility can be increased by adding a DC adapter cable and swapping its bulb for use as a camera-top fixture.
This kit is equipped for use with 120 AC Voltage. It can function with 220-240 and 12-30 DC Voltage, with the appropriate bulbs, adapter plugs or cables, and power supplies (available separately).

I've used these lights both in commercial and TV settings. You can't get anything better for the price. Throw in a cheap background light and you're good to go.

Comments about Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit (Soft Case):
Great kit. Great value. Great build quality from stands & lights to carry case. It includes everything you might need for what it is. Lots of little extra details like cord wraps and extra foam kits for the case etc. It's perfect kit for essential continuous lighting on the go. Could not be happier.
My only issue is that hot lights need to be handled gently when they are hot - because the bulbs are fragile. But that is consistant with all hot lights.

Exactly what you need for the budget. Beautiful light and easy to carry. If you are a do-it-yourself camera op, director, whatever- this is a good start. There are a lot of uses for this set up to be sure.

Purchased these for video. Have used them in the recording studio for a music vid and they worked very well. Combined with two leds and had no issues. The reports of Lowel being plasticky and cheap are very exaggerated.
Got the soft case and it is very nice. In fact it holds my led's, batteries and super clamps, no problem.

Comments about Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit (Soft Case):
This two light kit is perfect for interviews or small scenario type situations. I've used various kinds of field lights over many years of professional video shooting, and I always really liked the Pro Lights. Days of needing 500-1000 watt lights are over unless you're lighting a large scene. I also love the soft case. It is much more compact that I anticipated, and the included Uni-Stands are very nice. This small light kit holds a lot of potential, versatility, and portability for the freelancer that needs a quick and dirty light source.

Comments about Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit (Soft Case):
This kit is a very affordable and the Lowel Pro Lights are my favorite Lowel light. Both heads and the included accessories fit well within the soft case, and there is even a little extra room for other small items. Two Pro Lights are all you need for single or two-camera interviews. I either use them as a key and back light for a single interviewee or as key lights for the interviewer and interviewee. The diffused glass lens, barn doors, and spot to flood control make these lights very versatile. Sometimes I clip diffusion gel to the barn doors for some added softness.

Comments about Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit (Soft Case):
There are a lot of ways this kit could be better--more lights, more wattage, etc.--but for the price, it's absolutely unbeatable. 2 well made lights in a great case, with sticks and a lot of key accessories (umbrellas, filters, etc.) makes this a perfect buy for an indie filmmaker (like myself), student, aspiring pro photographer, someone with an art studio, whatever.
Also, every piece in the kit is Lowel... no low quality sub-parts here.

Comments about Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit (Soft Case):
I like Lowel's pro-visions lights a lot. they are sturdy, reliable and just the right brightness for interviews. In this videographer's opinion, video cameras have gotten sensitive enough that one no longer needs to blast a person with 750-1000 watts of light for an interview. The pro-visions lights are small profile professional grade lights that come with 200 watt bulbs but can handle 250 watts. that is perfect for my uses. the other advantage with low wattage lights is that there is less chance that you will trip a circuit breaker.for around $500 you get two lights with stands, an umbrella, 2 gel holders, gels, and a carrying case. it's compact, lightweight and easy to set up. a great little kit that has all the professional qualities one has come to expect from Lowel products and B&H photo.

Comments about Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit (Soft Case):
I use the Lowell Two Pro light kit for professional production and video instruction. I have used this system to shoot under a house and found it easy to use with great results. This is true throughout my many years of using the Lowell production systems. It has also allowed me much greater flexibility in teaching lighting techniques to my video production students.
Comments about Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit (Soft Case):
Good kit for the money. Unlike other kits, everything in this is a Lowel product. Hence all pieces fit nicely together. Whole kit very compact. Originally I was going to buy some items separately, but after adding it all up, buying this kit was cheaper.

Comments about Lowel GO Pro-Visions Kit (Soft Case):
Lots of the stuff that you need and none of the stuff you don't, this kit is actually a better price per lamp than the 3 lamp kit. This brand has been a consistent performer for my architectural interiors. I also advise getting a backup set of 125 watt bulbs to add versatility to this kit.
