Comments about Lowel Rifa eX 44 Kit, LB-45 Litebag Soft Case (120VAC):
This kit came recommended to me for some simple interview shoots that I was doing. The kit worked fantastic. The kit came ready to go and I was able to set up the light in just minutes despite there not being any instructions (if you've ever done a light set up though, it's pretty obvious).
Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place, but I couldn't find this kit with two lights so I bought an additional Rifa light and the stand separately.
Overall, I'm very happy.

Hands down, the best light I've ever used! I'm talking quick and easy, run-n-gun setup! Puts out just the right amount of light needed and spreads it evenly where I need it. Did I mention it's FAST and EASY to setup? Think I did! You won't be disappointed. Sturdy construction, professional quality. Think I'll have another!...

Comments about Lowel Rifa eX 44 Kit, LB-45 Litebag Soft Case (120VAC):
I've always loved Lowel lights, they've been a staple of my career. But when I tried the original Rifa 44 (thinking the "umbrella" folding design would be more convenient to replace my Chimera softboxes), I could never quite get the hood to stay locked in a fully opened position. Because of that, I almost had a fire during a shoot when the hood was touching the bulb inside and I saw and smelled smoke coming out. Does this new "eX" series fix that problem?

This is a great, lamp to have when you can only carry one small kit. Easy to transport and makes a ton of light.
