Comments about Pioneer PL-990 Turntable:
Excellent turn table. Pitch control, pre-amlified, it sounds beautifully! I was sick of listening compressed usic, took some time until find some turn table, and this one is the right choice if you dont want to spend tons of money. The only missing item is a headphone jack. Would be nice to have it, should be no dificult because the turntable is pre-aplified. But, is ok! I am really happy!

Comments about Pioneer PL-990 Turntable:
I bought this turntable as an upgrade from my "all-in-one" player with built-in speakers. Did some research and for the price range I was looking in, this was seemed like the best choice. I'm glad I went with it too, the sound quality is great, new or old LPs, doesn't matter. Assembly is easy and quick. I've had it for two weeks now and I have no complaints.

Comments about Pioneer PL-990 Turntable:
I am replacing an older Pioneer turntable that went with an 80's stereo system. I had that turntable repaired to the point that it's cheaper to buy a new one. So I found this PL-990 Pioneer at B&H. I read the instructions and was a little daunted by the fact that it has it's own built in pre-amp and can't be plugged into the stereo's "Phono jacks". Being that my stereo system is older, I don't have any auxilliary jacks. I didn't know what I was going to do. So, I simply plugged the turntable into my system's cd jack and voila, it plays beautifully!!!! Wow, my old records sound amazing with this turntable!! I'm very impressed! Great turntable at a great price to listen to great music!! Thank you!! I highly recommend! =) Enjoy!
