Comments about Yamaha FC3 - Dual Zone Piano Style Sustain Pedal:
It's a sustain pedal, does what it's supposed to do.
The continuous sustain feature works as expected (with compatible piano's), and the pedal feels sturdy and heavy, ensuring it doesn't move when being engaged.
The only negative thing I could think of is the fact that the cable is permantly attached to the unit and therefore not easily replaced, but that seems to be standard with sustain pedals.

I wasn't aware that this pedal is analog in nature. I was looking for sustain swich for a keyboard, but this pedal has a nice feel and finish. I'll modify it to fit my needs.

FC3 is being used as the right pedal for the P-155. The FC4 which came with the keyboard will be used for the left or middle pedal. Good quality and price.

Bought to replace the FC5 that was given to me. Much, much nicer to use. Feels like the real thing. No sliding around on the floor during performances.

Comments about Yamaha FC3 - Dual Zone Piano Style Sustain Pedal:
It is great. Rather than have the full sustain all the time, I was finally able to get half damper. However, as you know, half damper on a real piano is just a very small interval, beyond that, it sound like a full sustain. This pedal has a relatively long half-damper interval, so it you are a light pedaller in a grand piano, it might take some time before you will get used to how deep you must pedal before you get the full sustain.

Comments about Yamaha FC3 - Dual Zone Piano Style Sustain Pedal:
It looks and feels substantial -- just what I ordered -- happy with the price -- but I haven't figured out how to make it work. When I plug it into the piano all I get is constant sustain, no pedal needed. I know it is not the pedal's problem, I just haven't figured out what to do next.

I replaced the single zone sustain with this one and I am not disappointed. It takes a little getting used to but when you get the feel, it really helps expressive play with subtle nuances, especially with dynamic sections. Great peddle.

Comments about Yamaha FC3 - Dual Zone Piano Style Sustain Pedal:
I use the FC3 pedal with my Yamaha S90es keyboard and have had no problems at all. I love the way the sustain works just like on a piano. Unlike some others that have either an on or off sustain, this is a true 0 to 127 levels of pressure to simulate a true sustain piano sound. I would buy this product again and also I would recommend this product to anyone wanting the sustain sound of a real piano.

Comments about Yamaha FC3 - Dual Zone Piano Style Sustain Pedal:
This is the real deal. I bought this for my Yamaha Motif XS6 and it's an amazing pedal. Every other internet website or regular music store that I search around had this same pedal for [$]. I wish there was a plastic cover over the pedal like some other brands so that the silver doesn't get scratched up so easily from regular wear and tear. I also wish it had a polarity switch on the bottom to be able to use it with other branded keyboards like the Korg's.

Comments about Yamaha FC3 - Dual Zone Piano Style Sustain Pedal:
I bought this as a second pedal for use with my Yamaha CP300. The keyboard comes with just one pedal, so players wishing to be able to use both sustain and sostenuto need to buy another pedal. The size is like that of a pedal on an acoustic piano, as is the feel.
