The OP/TECH USA D-Pro SLR, Soft Pouch - Digital D Series (Black) is an easy-access neoprene case made to hold most digital Pro SLR cameras. It protects the camera and lens while in the field or in storage. It closes around the neck strap so that the neck strap is still usable. The Quick-Snap Retaining Strap Kit allows the pouch to remain attached to the camera at all times, or can be conveniently attached to a belt or bag strap. Non-marring snaps securely close the flap cover.

protects the camera, not too bulky but it is not custom fit so the fit depends on the camera & lens combination shape and size.

I bought this cover to protect my camera from light bump and to reudce its exposure a little bit from the public. It works and it's at a reasonable price. If it was quicker to access with like velcro-type opening vs. the current two-button style, then I'd give it a 5.

about what i expected, a little large for my T2i but provides good bump/dust protection and i now feel better stuffing the camera in a backpack...worth the price

This is a great pouch to use if you want to throw your camera (with a vertical grip) into a back pack and go. I use it with my Canon 5D Mark II and my 16-35 AF L Series Lens - a perfect fit for an "on-the-go" person.

For the Nikon D-3 its a bit tight. Another 1" of length would work better for the standard midrange lens. It is well designed but does not take into account the size of the D-3. I bought it to protect the camera in transit and the design does protect the camera. While it is designed to stay on the camera when shooting I have found it best to remove it completely.
