Questions? Ask our experts:

Kodak's Professional T-Max 100 is a medium-speed panchromatic black and white negative film characterized by an extremely fine grain structure along with high sharpness and resolving power. By utilizing a T-GRAIN emulsion, the grain pattern resembles a patterned, tabular form that maintains effective film speed while reducing the appearance of grain during enlarging or scanning. This film has a nominal sensitivity of ISO 100/21° and also features a wide exposure latitude, broad tonal range, and responds well to push development and zone system development changes.

In addition to processing as a negative in standard black and white chemistry, T-Max 100 is also suitable for reversal processing using the T-Max 100 Direct Positive Film Developing Outfit for creating copy and duplicate work.

This item is one 24-exposure roll of 35mm film.

Comments about Kodak Professional T-Max 100 Black and White Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 24 Exposures):

Good tonal range and even contrasting. This speed film works well with skin tone in nature and artificial lighting. But the subject must be well lit or the photographs will all be under exposed.

Comments about Kodak Professional T-Max 100 Black and White Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 24 Exposures):

If you're taking classes of B/W photography, you will need this and/or TMAX 400. No matter what of those two you choose, its basically the same. All depends in the exposure speed you want; however, there's no big difference. This tool is great for photos of slow exposure, because is a little less sensitive to light. On the contrary, TMAX 400 is more sensitive to the light, therefore, the exposures are faster. It's needed, useful, and awesome this Kodak Negative.

Love the tones, perfect for portrait, or any other photographic use, as long as you have a fast lens.
I used it meterless in one of my old russian rangefinder (a Kiev 4am with a Helios-103, super camera!) and with some Sunny 16 pictures came out perfect! Buy this film so we can keep Kodak!

I had long since retired when I had the opportunity to go back to school and learn wet B&W photography. Knowing nothing I called you all with my order and you filled the ISO 100 with T-Max 100 Pro. Great film! Consistent development, predictable contrast, all on a durable backing. It is a pleasure to go into the isolation booth to load up my development spools knowing I won't destroy the negatives with my still awkward methods of loading.

Don't shoot 100 speed much but when I do this is the film I use. Excellent tone, very tight grain and fine detail. Developes nicely with D-76

Classic b&w film that's great for students. Even as a beginner I got good, high detail prints at 8x10 and larger. Nice for dramatic, high contrast prints and darkroom experimentation.

i used this film for my introduction to photography class in college. it was easy to work with, i was able to shoot both inside and outside without any problems. although i did use a tripod the entire time just to ensure precise clear shots. the film is also easy to develop and the negatives were wonderful to work with in the dark room. i would recommend this film to anyone
