There is basically only one use for these things, but it matters when you don't have them. I was impressed that both black and white came in a pack. I thought I would get one or the other.
At first I didn't get why there were two wire holders, but found that you can remove the one you don't want.

I love the Countryman lav mics, but their engineering seems to stop at the mic. These clips are built very light out of plastic, and although relatively small have a weird tall profile. If one of these hit the floor, and gets stepped on, it's toast. It would be a home run had they made these out of metal with a lower profile.
I would also like to be able to buy these as a single black. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with 2 white clips that I never use.

The clips are used weekly by my Pastor. They are sized right for Countryman cables, so they stay put - right where I position them. I know they're working because the microphone stays put and he isn't continually adjusting it becaus eit feel like it's falling off.Only reason for 4 Stars is because they seem a bit pricey at almost [$] each. Still, the best price was right here at B&H.

I use a Countryman mic when preaching and the clip is a vital part of keeping the wire hiden and out of the way. Unfortuantely when other people use the mic the clip often gets lost. With such a small diameter wire(1mm)an exact replacement is imperative. B & H had just what I needed at the best price I could find so I bought FOUR of them just to be prepared for any future "losses."
