Photek's extra small Digital Lighthouse is a color-corrected, translucent cloth material housing for photographing small and medium products that can be lit with daylight, HMI, electronic flash, fluorescent, quartz and tungsten light sources.
The Digital Lighthouse can be lit from the sides, top, back, front or can be placed on a shooting table for bottom illumination. It also includes a removable black sweep that aids in preventing shadows on the background and provides complete separation from the item being photographed. It contains a removable plastic base, forming a rigid base for ease of product placement.
Photek's Digital Lighthouse helps to produce photographs with a professional quality because the product lighting is made simple and efficient and takes less time then conventional lighting solutions.

I'm surprised other reviewers haven't mentioned that the cloth isn't perfectly white but has a yellowish tint. Maybe I received a tent made from a bad batch of cloth? Be that as it may, the cloth acts as a filter, so that the light on the inside needs a serious white balance correction if you care about correct color.
I also have a larger tent, made by Impact, that is perfectly white. I've had the Photek tent too long to qualify for a return. I'm buying a small Impact tent.

I have been using this product for over 5 years. completely portable and are the best for great photos of jewelry....also, much cheaper with B & H than the jewelry suppliers...

I use this to take product photos which is fused glass jewelry that I make. Dichroic glass is very shiny and this Lighthouse keeps bright spots off the pieces in the photos.
The only negative that I can see (and it is minor), is that the velcro tabs on the background fabric do not fit the velcro in the tent. I'm using it in the wide direction, so it would fit better if used in the narrow direction.
