Comments about Frezzolini FDSA Dual Camera Shoe Adapter:
The product itself is great. My biggest con is the price. It measures about 7" and is pretty sturdy, but don't overload it with heavy accessories because it could damage your camera's shoe. Hasn't happened to me, but it's a possibility!

Comments about Frezzolini FDSA Dual Camera Shoe Adapter:
I have a Panasonic HVX200a and often have the need for both a shotgun mic and on-camera light. The single shoe just didn't work for me so I started to look around. My first attempt at trying to get a decent one that didn't cost $100 or more just didn't work out as it didn't even fit on my camera. My next option, that was also $50 more, was this. While it fits on the camera, the shoes on the Frezzi are not made to be repositioned so if either the shoe for your light or mic do not allow you to turn them, you may not be able to get them both on the adapter. Since the shoes on mine do not spin, the only thing I could do to make this adapter work was to unscrew the shoe on the adapter enough to allow it to spin. So yes, while that is possible, the manufacturer also puts a little pin to be able to "help you" better hold the shoe in place where they want you to keep it. But for those like me, if their placement does not work and you need to re-purpose the direction of the mount, then you do so not only without the added security of the pin, but now it also does not sit flush on the adapter itself! So my bottom line opinion is this: There are not a whole lot of adapters out there that I would consider to be affordable and while yes, this is under $100, and it's not terrible, the limitations I describe above also cause me to suggest that you a) continue to shop and b) consider paying more for something else.Hope this helps!
