I have been using this cable on my Crate Blue Voodoo guitar amp for about 5 years now. I haven't had a problem until a few days ago when the cable melted at the point the jack connects to the cable. Luckily I was behind my amp and saw it right away. Looks like a mechanical failure at the solder point, possibly because I used to push my amp against the wall in my small dorm rooms a few years ago and it bent the cable. For the past few years I've tried to avoid this, but it'd be nice to have an angled jack cable to avoid this problem. I guess it's not a big deal if you're a touring musician, but I'm just a hobbiest and I'd like my amp to sit closer to the walls in my house.
At least they have a great warranty!

i have always used monster cable for all of my rig connections. mainly because of the lifetime warrantee, and the ready availability of replacements if they happen to fail. i have recently bought a ATA touring case to hold my amp and am in need of angled to strait speaker cable, and to my surprise monster doesn't offer this option which i feel is ridiculous. im pretty bummed to not be able to give monster my business with this purchase.

I have used a three foot Performer 500 speaker cable to connect a SWR Pro 350 bass amplifier to my SWR Triad speaker enclosure for thirteen years straight now. It gets rolled up and carefully stored in a velvet Crown Royal bag inside the top of a SKB rack enclosure. With just a little bit of careful storage, this speaker cable has outlasted any other I have ever used and transfers a pure "un-colored" signal faithfully every gig! Awesome product at a fair price. I highly recommend Monster Cable!
