Comments about Epson UltraSmooth Fine Art Archival Photo Inkjet Paper (17" x 50' Roll):

I use this Epson UltraSmooth Fine Art Archival Inkjet Paper (17" x 50' Roll) in my Epson Stylus Pro 4900 inkjet printer. I create customized Beloved Pet prints for winners of silent auctions at various charity fundraisers across the nation. The roll paper, although relatively thick, is thin enough to be rolled and shipped in a tube. A tube with a minimum 4" inner diameter is recommended to reduce curl. I recommend removing the paper from the printer when not printing in order to reduce curling at the end. A curled end makes paper insertion back into the printer more difficult. I love everything about this paper: the look, the feel, the way it accepts the ink, the lovely matte finish and the relative heft. I have used this paper for 6 years and remain quite happy with it.

Comments about Epson UltraSmooth Fine Art Archival Photo Inkjet Paper (17" x 50' Roll):

We use it for reproducing drawings, etching, and watercolors. It has minimal texture so it's not distracting but lacks the gloss that does not work well for reproducing original works on paper. It's thicker so it feels like it's a quality paper, and it has no (or little) OBAs for those concerned with longevity... but keep in mind as a result, the paper is not super bright white.

Comments about Epson UltraSmooth Fine Art Archival Photo Inkjet Paper (17" x 50' Roll):

After fifty- some years as an employed photographer I retired to make snaps solely for myself , printing my own 16/20 Cibachromes, eschewing all things digital, feeling I would be unable to match the quality of Velvia/Ciba. Things change over the years, sometimes for the better. A move found me without room for a darkroom and two years ago I took the Luddite's plunge into digital..WOW. Premium Glossy I found equal to my needs relative to Ciba. I ventured into Ultra-Smooth Fine Art(roll) to lower my paper cost. The surface is terrific and the color depth fantastic. PLUS if you are not framing but going into a folio,e.g. you can print BOTH sides which brings your paper cost per 17x22 print down to about [$]
