Comments about Avenger Baby Backlite Stand (Black, 3.2'):

First off, I've never felt the need to write a review for a product in all the years I've purchased from BH until today.

You can get regular sized super sturdy C-Stands for the cost of this stand so I figured that it had to be a solidly built professional stand that would act as a stand replacement for my taller c-stands.

When I opened up the box and set this thing up I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The stand simply isn't a professional stand. The diameter of the legs and pole of the stand are tiny which makes the entire stand very wobbly and unsturdy.

I could have easily purchased an equally unprofessional stand for a third of the cost. If you are purchasing this expecting to mount anything professional I would reconsider.

Comments about Avenger Baby Backlite Stand (Black, 3.2'):

Use the product for school photography. It is sturdy and stable enough so that when kids accidently bump it, it won't fall over. Legs fold in one direction only which makes it a little difficult to place in stand bag.

Comments about Avenger Baby Backlite Stand (Black, 3.2'):

This mini stand works well but its not solid as you might think.
The screw that secures the pole to legs is the part that doesn't work for me because I like to be able to turn the strobe left or right when I have it attached to the stand.
Because of the design of the stud that receaives the strobe, you can't leave the screw on the strobe bracket with enough space so you can turn the strobe. So you have to turn to the screw that attaches the legs to the staff, which leaves the stand wobbly.
So you have to decide in a wobbly stand or not being able to easily turn your strobe (you would have to pick it up and turn the whole thing). Since I work alone this is not an option since it wastes time.
