The Maxell M-DV63PRO Mini DV Video Cassette is a high performance 63 minute videotape. It uses LAC (Lubricant Adsorption Control) Technology in combination with its Advanced DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) layers to greatly improve the durability of the videotape in any mode (Record, Pause or Still). Oxygen Supplement System (OSS) improves tracking stability during both recording and playback in both LP and SP modes, and results in a very durable videotape for the professional marketplace.

Used for HD DV in Canon Vixia 30. Seems to work very well and is much less costly than the "HD" DV tapes. Everything I found on the internet says you really do not need the HD tapes and that this is a great product.
