I replaced the PVC-180 faders in my Vestax VMC185 mixer, and upon powering on, I noticed a loud hum. After some careful troubleshooting and doing an A/B test with my old intermittent PVC-180s, I realized that the noise was indeed coming from the new faders. Playing audio through them does mask the sound pretty well however and they seem to give me a higher output then my old faders, so I can deal with them for the time being but overall they're too noisy.
