The Cavision PFA03X58/DFA04X58 is a fish-eye lens attachment. This attachment allows a 65% wider vision than the camera lens alone and fits directly on 58mm diameter camera filter threads.
Note! With this attachment some may be marked with PFA03X58 and some with DFA04X58, this is the exact same item.
- Application
- Used with camcorders featuring a 58mm or 52mm (with adapter) filter thread, this device will widen the angle of view by 65%; this distorts the image in a spherical fashion for specific special effects.
- Universal Design

I used my fish eye for skateboarding films and fun video's like trick basketball, pingpong ball, quarter shots and just for fun..It's made all my video's better because u don't just have one close up subject anymore, I can set up a glass on one side of a table put the camera sidewayz n u can see me on the other side and the glass wen I make the shot.It works great and didn't cost me a fortune, there's no vig on my videos, but thats where the downside comes in, I had to buy an attachment cuz my canon lens wuznt the right size..but its still a great product and I recommend it for all to try

Bought it to use with my Canon S2IS, and my Super 8 cine camera. Seems to work well with my Super 8, but the Digi has problems focusing. Definitely Wider than your stock lens. Barrel distortion it not has prominent as on the Century .3x.Takes some tricks to focus on a Digital P&S, Needed to put the camera in Super macro to get it to focus, but still not razor sharp, and only things shot close up look to be in focus. Also has a bit of chromatic aberration and fringing while on the P&S. Major light hog, needed to to open open the iris about 1.5 stops to get proper exposure.
