CD Architect 5.2 software from Sony Media Software produces professional audio CDs to Red Book specification. Version 5.2 includes CD text reading and writing and updated drive support. Perform full PQ code editing, trim events from full-length media and add as new tracks, import regions from Sound Forge software as tracks, master audio by applying over twenty real-time DirectX effects to events and the master output, and perform disc-at-once CD burning.
CD Architect software provides the precise audio CD mastering and burning tools. Arrange your CD Architect project using simple drag-and-drop operations. Produce complex cross fades and DJ-style mega mixes. Generate multiple takes of a song to use in your project before burning. Create live-style CDs with audio in the time between tracks, apply volume envelopes and event ASR envelopes - even create hidden tracks. CD Architect software supports a long list of drives, including many FireWire and USB devices.

This is by far the best cd writing program I have ever used. I had a previous version that wouldn't work on windows 7, so I upgraded to 5.2. It works flawlessly on my new windows 7 computer. This program is well worth the price. It is so easy to create custom cd's, and so user friendly.

The manual for this product is terrible. I spent hours trying to understand the program. Definitely not user friendly and the manual is useless.

Sony CD Architect unable to recognize my CD drive. If you think I'm the only one, do a Google search and see the various references and proposed solutions to this problem. I tried some (admittedly, not all of them) of the solutions, but none of them worked. I will be returning this software to B&H.

I always had problems using softwares such as ROXIO or NERO. Some features in these softwares did not work correctly. CD Architect on the other hand works 100% correctly. I love CD Architect, and I highly recommend it. It has features other softwares do not have. The User Guide is written very well. It covers all the aspects of the software. I wish other SONY softwares, such as SONY Movie Studio, would have such a good User Guide.
