Chief CMA101 5" Designer Ceiling Plate with 1-1/2" NPT Opening (Black)
Cost effective, attractive solution for simple installs, the Chief CMA101 ceiling plate is designed for ease of installation with any height of drop ceiling. By using any length of standard NPT 1-1/2" pipe, threaded on both ends, you can extend the height capabilities to meet your needs.
- Can hold equipment using all four holes or two opposing holes
- 4" x 4" mounting pattern is designed to allow use of 3/8" mounting bolts
- Includes set screw to secure a 1-1/2" NPT to the ceiling plate
- Weight capacity is 500 lbs.

This product is well engineered, lightweight, simple and can be easily attached to an angular bar suspended on a joist. The holes are perfectly designed to fit the holes on the angular bar which is available in [...].I installed one of this in my basement that has a suspended ceiling coupled with their 1 foot pipe and a designer finishing ring and it took me less than an hour, the best part is, it looked really good my wife was surprised when she saw it, she asked if it was installed by a professional, I said "nop! it was just well engineered".another good thing about this product is the price and the dealer B&H photo video, B& H is the best place to buy this product, just asked them about this product they will be happy to help you.I ordered this product together with other accesories ( FINISHING RING, THREADED PIPE,UNIVERSAL PROJECTOR MOUNT RPA-U AND DA-LITE 100" SCREEN )[...]I tried to save money for the projector so i went with the cheapest place and i regreted it. My advice buy everything from B&H and for projector mounting problem buy CHIEF( the best design for projector mount and accesories )
