Comments about Lowel Dichroic Filter for Omni-Light:

You're shooting outside and your camera light just doesn't have enough punch so you haul out your Omni light with a tungsten 3200K bulb. Too warm, won't match, so you gotta go blue. You could C47 on a piece of blue gel that will flap in the wind and drive your sound person crazy or you could just flip in this dichroic and keep shooting. Light weight, easy to install, perfect color temp change. Buy one you won't regret it.

Comments about Lowel Dichroic Filter for Omni-Light:

This dichroic does not put out an even wavelength of daylight color from one edge to the other. If averaged out it does achieve 5500 degrees or so and can be used for unbrella bounce or shot through some diffusion - which is how I use it. You can't rely on this filter when using an open faced instrument because the color output varies too much and will be obvious when trained on a neutral flat surface.
