I purchased this strap for my new Canon Sureshot G10, which came packaged with a rather cheezy little original equipment strap. Although this quality leather strap is probably overkill for this small camera, it looks nice, is stronger than the OEM strap, and hangs more securely on my shoulder, making me less concerned about accidentally dropping the camera. If you are like me, and find the OEM strap disappointing, try this one. You won't be disappointed.

This does have some leather, but the inner surface appears to be some kind of sticky rubber to prevent from sliding when wearing over the shoulder. As such, may be great to wear over the shoulder, but if used to hang camera on neck sticks to neck, which is not too pleasant. As to wearing over the shoulder, the length is pretty good, but the leather section of the total length is somewhat shorter than what I would expect.

Comments about Canon Leather Neck Strap:
This is an excellent strap that takes very little effort to attach and adjust. It's mostly leather (and smells like leather!). It's a little stiff at first, but with use softens up. For the price, this was a steal. And its understated Canon labeling is much better than the "advertisement" original strap that came with the camera, so you won't look like a tourist and be an obvious target for a thief.

Comments about Canon Leather Neck Strap:
This strap arrives a little stiff, and I am guessing is going to STAY a little stiff, but oh man does it feel good. Cool and smooth, lustrous and stylish. This is a five star strap that gets demoted for it's lack of suppleness. Outside that I highly recommend this strap as an upgrade to the always too-thin models that come with your camera as stock.

Comments about Canon Leather Neck Strap:
I am not one to like straps in the first place but this was the nicest one I could find. Those neoprene straps have nothing compared to the cannon leather strap. It does take a little wearing in however. about a month or so.

Comments about Canon Leather Neck Strap:
I bought this strap for my Canon SX20IS. This strap is more comfortable around my neck or on my shoulder. It is also longer which allows me to put the strap over my head and have the camera hang on my side below my elbow. The OEM strap was too short for that. The quality seems very good, well made product!

Comments about Canon Leather Neck Strap:
This is a nice quality camera strap that I purchased for my Canon SX20 IS. It is longer and more comfortable around my neck than the O.E.M. strap. It's long enough that I can put it over my head and let the camera hang on my side. I couldn't do that with the (shorter) original strap. (it put the camera right at my elbow) Quality seems good. Well worth the money!

Comments about Canon Leather Neck Strap:
I purchased this strap to replace the stock strap that came with a Canon S3 IS digital camera. It fits great and is very comfortable, much more than the stock strap. It is made of leather and should last a long time. There is nothing I don't like about this product; the price seemed reasonable, too.

Comments about Canon Leather Neck Strap:
I put this on my S5 IS. Fits just right. I'm not really used to using a strap but I'm doing different things lately like hiking etc and thought the strap would be a good idea. I also thought the price was just a bit high.
I couldn't find it for less (but we knew that) and when it arrived I was very pleased with it's construction. No loose threads or careless stitching. Very comfortable. Most likely it will out last the camera. It gets four stars because there are no snaps to quickly remove it when you are in a rush to grab a shot. I would buy it again for another camera.
