So jewel cases are a must have, everyone knows that, but if you expect that you can use these things for longer that a month you're crazy. The plastic is so small and cheap that for every case of 50, four or five have already been broken by [...]. After popping open the case four or five times something will break off and you'll have to throw it away, but it serves a purpose and does it well.

I haven't used these cases very long, but so far they do the job. I use them to house DVDs for personal and business use. These cases are very affordable and are also reliable, meaning that their hinges don't break and come apart easily. You don't want that happening when you hand a DVD to a client or friend.

These cases are well made and allow space for a photo copy for a front cover page.They are great if you have little space for storage on your shelf. I have wrapped the storage box they come in using spray glue with some fabric and store the discs there for neatness. And yes, I have and will continue to buy again.

These are great cases for what they cost. I'm giving them four stars simply because I've used slim cases that are slightly better quality. But lets face it, any slim case is going to break eventually. Save your hard earned pennies and buy these. Also, the exterior box they come in are great for tranferring large quanity deliveries.

I buy fairly large quantities of slimline jewel cases, probably averaging about 1500/month, for the duplication part of my business. I switched suppliers to B&H several months ago and was loving these jewel cases (and the typical B&H great service!). They were priced very competitively and were very good quality in comparison to almost all of the ones that I have used over the years.
In my last order, though, the quality was quite a bit inferior than previously. What I don't know is if this was an aberration or Merit Line switched manufacturers. The last batch was light, flimsy and had injection-molding patterns in the clear cover piece....i.e., the clear top portion was "wavy" in sections. If my next order is the same quality, I'll be searching for a different brand.
I'm not sure if reviews are appendable, but I'll change this if my next order in a couple of weeks is better.

The 'tabs' that should hold the cases shut were too small. The cases often wouldn't click shut and stay shut. The second pack was a little better but I still don't trust them to stay shut. I wouldn't buy this product again.

We use these a lot to mail out samples but I often find the little pegs where the clear cover connects to the back break unless you are super gentle.
