Lowel KS Light Stand - 9' (2.7m)
This is a Lowel KS 9' Light Stand. Lowel stands and poles are constructed with thick-wall, anodized aluminum alloy tubing to deliver an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio. All have a standard 5/8" top stud with safety undercut, adjustable base spread and collar-clamping for each segment.
The KS has tubular legs which provide a more stable base than the Omni stands and feature small holes in the base for Lowel casters or anchors.

I use 9' KS lightstands exclusively for location and studio photography and film making. These stands solidly support; Lowel DP, Lowel Rifa, and Lowel Pro lights. These stands are very stable even when fully extended with Lowel DP lights. There isn't a better stand for the money.
