The photoflex speed ring for the Lowel DP light was exactly what I needed in order to fit a large softbox to my Lowel light. It was simple to use & it even fit perfectly with softboxes from other brands other than Photoflex.
Im quite happy with my purchase & im sure that anyone with a Lowel DP will get great results with this speed ring.

This thing is really silly. All metal and solid made, but doesn't fit the DP light very well, you have to take out screws, and a mounting piece and then you've got these loose parts, which is not so great on the set, and then trying to fit the screws back into the holes- it's like assembling furniture, not something i want to do when I'm trying to light a scene.

These speedrings could be used with just about any Chimera-style softbox, but I bought them because I have Photoflex softboxes I use with my Lowel DP lights. They are machined specifically for the DP lights. However, when I tried to install them, they were about a millimeter or two too small. This problem was easily fixed with a little bit of filing, and now they work like they're supposed to. However, it would have been nice if they fit properly straight out of the box.

This is a bit heavy for my DP lights and quite difficult to attatch. By difficult, I mean time-consuming. It's not hard to figure out how, it just takes a long time to do, and requires completely unscrewing screws on two of the lips (with the brass-colored knobs). I returned this shortly after receiving it.
