I use this product at an indoor handgun range and found it to be everything I wanted in a spotting scope --- compact for transporting & storage --- excellent clarity --- a quality product at an excellent price.

I bought this to use as a spotting scope for Bullseye Shooting. The range of the zoom is fine for this purpose but it doesn't transmit enough light to see hits in the black rings in a well lit indoor range at 50 yards. A plus is that it takes up very little room in the case. I'm new to the sport and this will work as a starter scope but I'll eventually have to upgrade. It's probably fine for outdoor use as a bird spotter or similar use.

We have found this scope to be excellent at its intended purpose of spotting and watching the birds in our area. As with any large lens there is a learning curve to being able to spot things and holding it steady. We may even mount it to an old gun stock for extra ease in using it in the field. The only issue we had which was resolved quickly is that we couldn't get it to focus. The instructions don't say it expands, we had to look at a picture on the box to figure it out. Excellent product we highly recommend it to all.

This product is great unfortunately i have not use it for the porpose i've bought it for because the tripod is too small so i had to order one of course from B+H. If this product had came with a taller tripod i would have given it 5 stars. Every one in my club is asking about it i think B+H will get some more orders.
