I chose this case primarily because it looks like a regular brief case and it is oriented horizontally. The horizontal position provides a lower center of gravity and allows me to stack another bag on top when I travel by air. The case holds my wide screen pc, 2 cameras, several lenses and my Nikon SB800 and SB600 flashes fit perfectly into the left and right side outside pockets. It is very well made and seems to have a slightly longer pull out handle than most other rolling bags - great for tall people. It fit easily into the overhead compartment on a recent flight. I like all the pockets and the mesh pocket inside that lets me see the contents. It is also relatively light (about 8lbs) for its construction and capacity. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because my only wish is that it had a means of carrying a tripod on the outside for when I am not travelling. I just used a bungee cord to attach my tripod - not the prettiest but it worked.

It definitely holds two cameras with lenses attached, but, everything else in your bag will not have a place unless it's WAY down in the deepest darkest depths. So, if you want your portable hard drive to hook up to the laptop, you'll be digging to China to find it and its cords.

No place to store cards, batteries, cords, filters, et. al... unless you want to throw them in the bottom. The two outer pockets are large and deep, but, not conducive to most of the stuff I need to carry. I put cords in them.

All my filters are stuck in the depths, so, I can forget about quickly pulling one out and attaching it. There's an outside front pocket I could probably put them in, but, there's no padding on that pocket and they would be subject to being broken even though they're in their cases.

It holds my 15'4" laptop easily, but, the padding is thin. I would never let a baggage handler check it on one of those small airplanes that don't allow the larger carry-ons. I don't know how you'd fit a 17" with a power cord in there.

The wheels and handle seem very sturdy, but, I've yet to use it on a difficult trip.

Tamrac has this nice little note attached to the bag that says it accepts their Strap Accessory System. That's a good thing because there are NO little see-thru pockets for the essentials as there were in my discontinued Naneu Pro Bag.

I'm going to have someone fix a zipper I broke on the Naneu Pro and go back to it.

Comments about Tamrac 5263 CyberPro Express Rolling Photo/Computer Briefcase (Black):

I was looking for a wheeled carry-on bag that had a padded compartment for my camera/lens and pocket for my computer. The bag had all the features I was looking for. Here are the issues I have:

    1) Computer pocket not easily accessible. A minor problem when going through airport security.
    2) Expanding handle did not sufficiently lock when open. Once it actually pinched my finger while collapsing...ouch.
    3) Compartments are hard to get to because of the buckles. Not a big problem but makes it that much harder to organize yourself during the boarding process.

Comments about Tamrac 5263 CyberPro Express Rolling Photo/Computer Briefcase (Black):

I trave with a 17inch Mac Book Pro along with drives and card readers and just about anything else I can fit in my briefcase. This Briefcase will fit everything including the drives and a 5dM2 body with a 24-70 lens. And all the support minus the tripod. I have to say it is kind of deep in the main compartment but that really lets you stack things you would normally not use until you landed at the hotel and started to build your work station.
This briefcase is really large you could probably travel with a couple of camera bodies and lenses if you don't have all the drives and support cables I need for my work.

I have had a number of briefcases and Im pretty sure I wont go back to the others now this works so well.

You will want to have your computer in a sleeve, but the camera gear in the main compartment will only need a wrap or cloth, it has deviders for your gear but if you stack things youll want to have something soft between them.

Great bag, it holds two Nikon D300s with big lens ( 70-200 & 20-70) and two others plus two flash heads with various controlers, lens hoods, lap top and more. You can still lift it, the wheels are great BUT the big aspect is it free stands and you can very quickly get out what you need, no having to take it off your back, lay down and open.

Comments about Tamrac 5263 CyberPro Express Rolling Photo/Computer Briefcase (Black):

I purchased the express briefcase to take to Africa-I needed to carry two camera bodies. four lenses, a laptop and all the chargers, polarizers, cleaning equipment etc. I did not want to take a large backpack because on several international flights with even a mid-size backpack I have had problems stowing it and also with flight attendants who wanted it checked. The briefcase fit under even the smallest seat although on one puddle jumper I had to pull the laptop. I took a small backpack and carried Nikon's 200-400 lens in it. I was able to travel with everything I needed and little weight on my back. I would recommend it and several experienced photographers planned to order it as soon as they got home.

I travel frequently with this bag filled with my 300mm prime lens, 100mm macro, a wide angle, 24-70mm, 70-200mm, flash, Canon 5D and Canon 5Dmark II. 17"MAC also. Once I was stuck on a tiny commuter plane only 20 seats and I was still able to stuff this under the seat with all my gear thank heavens.
I have rolled this bag across the flower fields in SanDiego, over the mountains in Colorado, through the horse farms of Kentucky, several zoos and animal parks including Hawaii. I LOVE IT.

I used this case for the first time this week on a cruise. The bag tumbled out of our bus luggage bay (about a six-inch drop) and I ended up with a nasty ding on the side of my Macbook Pro. It also took a few minutes for me to figure out how to orient/pull the bag to where it didn't tip from side to side as I was going through the terminal. Then, of course, the handle collapsed a couple times. It held my laptop, a Canon 5D with 24-105 lens and a Sony Handycam camcorder with assorted accessories, so it wasn't overpacked. And did I mention that it doesn't have interlocking zippers, so you can't use a luggage lock on it? Didn't realize that until I bought it. I think I'll go back to my old cheap, lockable, non-handle-collapsing, heavily padded rolling carryon.

I used this bag for a trip to Kenya - not sure why some reviewers are saying it won't hold 2 camera bodies easily. I had two camera bodies and four L-series lenses in the bag with no problem (including the 70-200mm and 100-400mm L series). It also met the international carry on requirements, however I intentionally did not go through London because of how incredibly picky they are about carry ons. I had no problem in Amsterdam or Nairobi.

Loved the fact that I did not have to lug all that equipment on my back through the airport!

This is a good alternative to carrying a camera bag and laptop case when traveling. It is a bit on the heavy side, especially when loaded, but fit in the overhead without problems on both large and small planes. The ability to wheel through the airport was priceless to me. Much better than having to carry your camera, lenses, accessories and computer. The laptop pocket fit my 17" Macbook Pro without problem and had handy access. I would recommend this case for anyone doing any type of air travel and likes to take a lot of equipment with them. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that it is a bit heavier empty than I would have expected.

Case does not handle two SLR's well as advertised. It will take them but with very little else in the case. The area for the notebook is just a flap, not much protection & it's on the outside where it could easily get knocked around. Has areas that could be used for storage but they're not accessable. Quality is good. Handle is easily accessible. Wheels seem to roll good.

I was looking for a rolling bag that would hold a 17", laptop, met carry-on size requirements, and could accommodate a reasonable amount of photo gear. This was the only bag I found that did all I needed.

This is a great bag for travel and sessions on the road. It is just the right size for a complete photography session - holds a couple bodies, couple lenses, flash, laptop, etc... the biggest plus is it is easy to get in and out of compared to the bags that you have to lay down flat to get the equipment.

The only con is that it does not have the extra smaller pockets some of the other digital bags have.

As with everything, the world is getting smaller and smaller as is the case with this item. I like the concept of the rolling wheels (great for airport travel) but the case is just not wide enough. I felt I was jamming my camera body in the bag and that did not sit well with me.

I have used Tamrac products in the past and have been well pleased with them. This bag is absolutely wonderful. There is plenty of customizable storage space and pockets as well. Great bag and I highly recommend it. Wheels roll smoothly. Handle sticks a little when extending but with use, that is working itself out.

I now can cary one bag. Laptop and camera. Plus it has wheels, so it saves my back in the air ports.
My bigest problem is that I try to take too much equipment.

This is my everyday location bag. It holds a lot of gear, but due to it's basically vertical orientation you sometimes have to dig for lenses and other bits that are on the lower level. If you need to have all of your gear easily available at once, this may not be the bag for you. It is, however a slick, easy to handle bag that holds 2 pro sized DSLRs and 6 lenses with room for the stuff. BTW you might want to get a ridged case for the laptop you put in here since it gets sandwiched between the lenses and the accessories in the front flap and tends to get stressed against the irregular shapes of these items.

                        Expertise: Professional

Problems Encountered: Some stress/bending of the laptop compartment. Items not as accessible as with flatter cases.
