The ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ3102 from Behringer is a professional 31-band stereo graphic equalizer for both live and studio applications. Its FBQ Feedback Detection System instantly detects feedback frequencies and can also be used as an audio analyzer, making the unit a welcome addition to every touring setup.
The unit provides a dedicated mono subwoofer output with adjustable crossover frequency. Unwanted frequencies such as floor rumble and tape hiss can be removed utilizing the additional sweepable high and low cut filters for each channel. Level setting is easy with the accurate 12-digit LED input/output metering and input gain control.
The FBQ3102 utilizes ultra low-noise audio operational amplifiers that provide outstanding sound performance. High-quality illuminated faders, detent ALPS potentiometers and illuminated switches provide reliability and longevity of use.

For the price it's hard to complain, but there is definitely a noise problem coming from my 3102. I use it in my home studio for fine tuning my monitors and using the crossover. The room is dead silent until the 3102 is turned on, and while the buzz isn't too unbearable it is more than I can tolerate for a recording studio. I have since removed the monitors from the EQ and have them bypass the 3102 completely, eliminating their noise. now I just use it as a crossover, which is ok. Not much noise in the low end, but it is very hard to do any fine tuning since the crossover frequency control is a tiny little cheap plastic knob on the back. I have been trying for hours to get everything balanced right and the limited control is killing me. Finally, it produces a random click/pop sound every minute or so when there is no audio running through, and about every 40 minutes when there is audio. I have gone hours with the 3102 turned off and not a sound from my subwoofer. I will be saving up for a DBX to replace it, maybe I can still use it as a doorstop or a hammer…

Comments about Behringer FBQ3102 Graphic Equalizer:
I am using the FBQ3102 to equalizer the overall PA sound at my church. First I analyze the audio output of the speakers with a DEQ2496 and then transfer the equalizer settings to this unit. I really like the 6db and 12 db settings as it allows more finite control for each frequency range when changes greater than 6db are not needed. Overall a decent unit performing as needed.

I bought this eq for my karaoke system, and thought it so great but then I exchange it for a higher price one thinking it would be better but boy was I'm wrong. Just return the twices it cost and re order this and could not be more happier.

Certainly does what it's supposed to do in shaping your sound. I find that you cannot increase the output level too much before a noticeable coloration in the sound, and a faint buzz.
I've owned 2 before, and they seem to have a little limited life. They had seemed pretty warm in my rack (I had 2 on top of each other), so maybe had overheated, but I started getting a louder buzz in one, and then about 1 year later, got the same kind of buzz in the other.
It's good for the money, and to me seems cheap enough just to replace when it goes bad.

Works great, I have no use for the base out but its nice to have as well. I have a projector and use the stereo speakers in it as well as the surround system. and it can not handle the base the system can. not to mention depending on what is playing the "dj" at the time may wish to adjust the sound profile. this eq gives great controll. I do not use it as a rack mounted unit and insted it is free standing[...] lol. I could use free equipment to write reviews ;)

Without reading the manual yet, I have been able to get the EQ plugged in and working. I have a handle on my problem feedback frequencies and now can dial in the sound at my leisure.

This unit has built in crossover for Subwoofer, high and low pass filters for each channel, feed back killing circuit, and a 31 band graphic equalizer. The price of a crossover, feedback killer, and 31 band graphic equalizer is easily double the price of this unit.
