This is a handy piece of gear to have around. I have two. You can mount small cameras like the Go Pro or even a dslr to a c-stand. I use it to mount an 'on camera' light to a c-stand for use as an eye-light. Anything with a 1/4-20 female thread can be mounted to a c-stand.
