A constant tension tilt bracket for mounting lightflector, small cameras, and accessories. Has a 1/4-20 in knurled screw. It fits on a 5/8 in or smaller light stand stud. It also accepts 2 flex-shafts.
This little doohickey isn't big or beautiful but it is useful. This thing is made of thick gauge metal so it is strong with affirmative and confident tension. All Lowe products I have are dependable and short of losing this I expect to get many, many years of use from it. My original Tota's date from the very first made. Good stuff.
The Tota Tilter is a great little thing to have. I use them for mounting my LitePanels on light stands. Also great for small flashes, Lightflectors, or props. I'm sure there are uses that you might be able to come up with too.
I keep a couple in my kit for small lights & things.
It has mounts for 2 Flexi-Shafts, so you can use light shaping tools. Great for table tops.
Lowell gear seems cheap, but the mice thing about it is it's simplicity and robustness. Often, a trip to the hardware store is all you need to fix, or replace parts. Great for travel.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
