This is an elegantly simple way of using a Tota flag on any clampable surface, which in my book is very handy. Yes, most of the time, the Tota flag attaches most effectively to the OMNI or TOTA, but sometimes I need to put on somewhere close, but not ON the light (either instead or in addition). This is super simple way to do that. Small pony clamp with a hefty spring, and in goes the flag - quicker than setting up a stand etc.
