The HPS5000 from Behringer is a custom-designed, high-performance studio headphone with a circumaural, closed-back design. The HPS5000 offers 40mm cobalt capsules for ultra-wide frequency response and dynamic range, resulting in well-defined bass and transparent highs.
The padded headband and earcups allow for continued comfort during prolonged use. The over-the-ear design of the earcups also helps to reduce external noise. The single-sided cable uses oxygen-free copper wires for a clean audio signal.

Comments about Behringer HPS5000 Closed-Back High-Performance Studio Headphones:
This headphone is cheap but sounds pretty good. Just continue to match the sound quality vs. price expectation I have on the brand. The bass is great and the high is good (tho not great).
The headphone however is not easy to comfortably wear. I spent an hour to bend the plastic headband, especailly the lower part, to make it fit my head and make the earcups fit my ears. But it still not really comfortably fit afterall.
This makes the headphone not my favorite vs. the cheap HPX2000.
And waht's the point to have a headphone not fitting well?
So no. I do not recommend this headphone at all!

Comments about Behringer HPS5000 Closed-Back High-Performance Studio Headphones:
I don't think my head is an unusual shape, but these phones don't fit snugly over my ears! The cups don't pivot sufficiently, so the band keeps them tilted at an angle instead of fitting over the ears.
Also, a metal trim piece fell off the phones as I removed them from the package. It doesn't matter, because the piece is pure decoration, but it indicates poor build quality, and why have a purely decorative piece at all?
I have the cheaper HPS3000 phones, and really like them. I thought these would be an upgrade. They are not. Buy the cheaper ones.

Comments about Behringer HPS5000 Closed-Back High-Performance Studio Headphones:
I bought these to work with my Marantz audio recorder. They are light, durable, and fit nicely over my ears. The sound is clean and most background noise is unnoticable. Sturdy construction make these headphones a great purchase.
