Comments about Gitzo G1220.129LB3 4.7" Extra Long Spike Set:

I got these spikes for my Induro CT 214 tripod. They are awesome in the sand, and other soft surfaces! Their length provide more stability than the standard spiked feet that came with the tripod. I have no problem recommending these spiked feet for those people who want the ultimate in stability in soft ground.

Comments about Gitzo G1220.129LB3 4.7" Extra Long Spike Set:

Ideal product if you are using the Gitzo tripod on the beach. Can be installed and uninstalled easily. Gives you 100% confidence that your tripod will provide the support you require. Would not go the beach without them.

Comments about Gitzo G1220.129LB3 4.7" Extra Long Spike Set:

Together with my Canon 400L mm 2.8 IS USM and my Wimberley head on top of my Gitzo GT5531S this long spikes is fenomenal. Without spikes, or with shorter spikes it is good, but now I have a unit that is very very stable. Do not hesitate to buy the long spikes if you need to squeeze the maximum permormance out of your equipment.
