This is exactly what I was looking for. 75-300 lens fits perfectly, plus the added benefit of the separate compartment for lens filters. It's just a bit bigger than I thought it would be, but with that also comes the ability to "place" my lens into it instead of forcing it.

The weave on this bag is nice, and the manufacturer made sure to put all the finishing touches... but, the foam (if you can call it that) isn't dense at all, and that concerns me. Unfortunately, this is the only case that will fit my lens, so I'm stuck with it. The foam is similar to the type of soft cover that is placed over speakers so you can't see the speaker cones, so if you know what I'm talking about, you can understand why if you bump into something with the case, there's virtually nothing protecting the lens. It's a pouch, but that's it.

One size fits all (for me at least)

Comments about OP/TECH USA Lens/Filter Pouch, Medium:

I purchased 2 of these for the occasional assignments where I'd rather use my regular backpack than a dedicated camera bag (which screams "Steal Me!"). The medium size is perfect for my Canon 100mm f2.8 macro (non-L), Canon 70-300mm IS (non-L), Canon 17-55mm f2.8, and Canon 10-22mm. All of these lens will fit with the hood in the reversed position. The Canon 10-22mm might fit better in the small size pouch but for my collection of lenses, it made better sense to get a pouch that would fit them all. BTW, the 10-22mm WILL fit this pouch even with its obnoxiously wide lens hood attached. At a third of the price of a dedicated Canon pouch, it's hard to go wrong with this one!

Comments about OP/TECH USA Lens/Filter Pouch, Medium:

I use this OP/TECH lens pouch with my Olympus 50-200 f/2.8 lens with the tripod collar off. If I'm shooting the lens with the tripod collar on, I use the case supplied by Olympus. The Op/Tech is less bulky and carries two 67mm filters.

The bag holds my 55-250mm lens great, it is a little wide but the length is perfect. The filter holder is a great accessory.
