This is one of the two electromagnetic Mamiya cable releases available for the RZ67 and Mamiya 645 Pro and Super cameras.
Note! It is also possible to use a traditional screw-in, non-electromagnetic cable release with these cameras. The 645 cameras require a cable release adapter which comes with the body and attaches to the side of the camera. The Pro and Super models use B&H# MACRA645, while the Pro TL uses B&H #MACRA645PTL.

Comments about Mamiya Cable Release for RZ67 and 645 Pro, Pro TL and Super:
Purchased this item for use with my Mamiya 645 Pro TL. If you shoot off a tripod then a cable release is, in my opinion, one of those things you need to have. This one fits that bill.

Location shooting, night street shooting
Great: It stays locked on, has an easy preview 1/2 click
Not great but not terrible: a bit tricky to insert

Comments about Mamiya Cable Release for RZ67 and 645 Pro, Pro TL and Super:
Wonderfully easy to use! A must when shooting in the studio.
The costly price of the cable concerns be a little bit, as it would be very hard to replace. Could not find the correct information I needed about the adapter for the more common cable release cables that screw into the camera body.

Comments about Mamiya Cable Release for RZ67 and 645 Pro, Pro TL and Super:
Got tired of the mechanical releases going bad so went for this one. It's pricey but if it continues work for a long time it will be worth. I went on a shoot recently in the snow and it did well. It did not come loose leaving it locked onto my 645 Pro TL as I put my tripod mounted camera over my shoulder to trek to the next location in about a foot of snow. I like the feel of the button action. I have not had a chance to use the locked/bulb setting yet. I only gave it 4 stars since its longevity is an unknown at this point.
