Mamiya Mirror Lock-Up Double Cable Release - The perfect tool to prevent camera shake during long exposures when using the RB67 and RZ67

This "Y"-shaped double function cable release connects to the camera body's shutter release, and to the mirror lock-up switch (on the lens barrel)
When the release is pressed, the mirror lock-up operation activates first, followed by release of the shutter
Very useful for both telephoto and close-up applications

Comments about Mamiya Mirror Lock-Up Double Cable Release for RB67 and RZ67:

Well made cable that I have been using to decrease camera shake for landscape photography, both long and shot exposure times. The cable is well made, and includes instructions on how to adjust the workings if the mirror up and camera release happen at the same time ... something that I have not had to do. I have been using it on essentially all of my exposures. I must admit that it is some what cumbersome to attach the cable to both the camera release and the lens, but that is the design of the system and can't be avoided. Using this item is easier than carrying two cable releases.

Comments about Mamiya Mirror Lock-Up Double Cable Release for RB67 and RZ67:

This double release worked OK on my Mamiya RB67 using my 50 mm lens but would not delay release of the shutter on 150 mm lens. It insisted on flipping the mirror and releasing the shutter at the same time. So I had to use two seperate cable releases. It's too expensive ([$]) for what you get. Cheaper to get two $10.00 standard cable releases.
