International Orders*ChromaFlex is flexible chroma key solution that allows you to shoot and key almost anywhere. The results achieved using ChromaFlex are as good as those achieved in a dedicated studio environment - on location, as everything needed comes in one small bag.
This kit includes the green medium size LED LiteRing (fits lenses 105mm-112mm in diameter), 7 x 7' collapsible Chromatte glass beaded background which achieves a high quality key, with no blue spill and excellent edge definition.
The LiteRing is a circular arrangement of bright green light emitting diodes (LEDs) mounted around the camera lens. The LiteRing provides all the necessary source light required to illuminate the Chromatte fabric for keying. Manufactured in two sizes, it is compatible with most digital video and professional camera lenses. The AC powered LiteRing Controller (LRC) allows adjustment of the intensity of light required for optimum keying results. Ideal shooting distances depend on a number of variables including levels of ambient light, choice of keying applications, camera quality and filming formats. As a rule the subject should be further than 8 ft from the camera to avoid a green cast of light. Maximum distance is approximately 60 ft.
The collapsible pop-up frame springs open when removed from its bag to create an instantly usable 7 x 7' screen. The surface area allows sufficient space to shoot from close-up through to a wide shot of good proportion. The light-weight, flexible fabric contains millions of glass beads that behave like cat's eyes - it is dark grey to the eye in ambient light, but when used with a camera mounted LED LiteRing the grey is seen by the camera as a brilliant but more importantly even green background for easy chroma keying. The nature of the interaction between light and the glass beads means that seams, folds and creases are no problem.

Comments about Reflecmedia Chromaflex Green Kit with Bag - Medium - 7':
We purchased this kit to do easy chroma key work in our office. As anyone who has done green screen work before knows, it's often hard to do it well outside a studio. If you don't light it just right, the key color can be mottled, or blend with the subject so you don't get a good separation.
The pros are simple: This kit works very well, the green is consistent, and it was very easy to key out. It's easy to set up, easy to light (in fact, no additional lighting on the green screen is necessary). We didn't seem to have to really backlight our subjects either and still got decent separation.
The cons: If you need to use on on-camera teleprompter, then you are out of luck. The two won't work together.
The green LEDs can start to make your subject look sickly, especially if you are shooting in close quarters. My advice, get yourself some magenta gels; it helps reduce the green on their faces and it doesn't seem to affect the chroma.
Another piece of advice: The LED rings are attached to the camera via the filter threads on the lens and you will have to pick the adapter ring that fits your camera. If you have more than one kind of camera, and they have different sized filter diameters, say a PD-170 and a Panasonic HVX-200, Reflecmedia suggests you need more than one ring. (The small light ring for the 58mm Sony and the medium light ring for the 82mm Panasonic.)
If you find yourself in this situation like I did, save yourself some money and buy yourself some filter ring adapters to step up little camera up to the size of your larger camera.
Overall, we're very happy with this product.
