Comments about Mamiya Lens Hood for 90mm and 110mm Lens:

Let me start off by saying that I bought this hood for use on my behemoth Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM lens, which was coupled to my APS-C DSLR. Sigma's factory plastic hood is tacky at best, and seeing the collapsible rubber hood offerings that Nikon had for their standard lenses, I sought a viable alternative. Enter the Mamiya M77 No. 1 hood, the lens hood that simply has no equal (as far as collapsible hoods are concerned). What makes this hood so great is the fact that it attaches to the lens via 77mm filter threads- no more lens hoods falling off unexpectedly. Better yet, the whole base of this hood is made out of beefy aluminum, so you know its built to last. Finally, the best part- the hood collapses in upon itself, making it super quick to go from hood to no hood when shooting, or when making adjustments to filters and polarizers on the fly. Sure at around $30, this hood may be pricier than others, but do not be fooled by cheap imitations that have flooded the marketplace. This hood is professional quality and B&H is one of the few places where you can find it.
