Whirlwind Medusa Mini Series 12 Channel (12x XLR Send & 0x Return) Stagebox to Fanout Snake - 50'
This Whirlwind Medusa Mini Series 12 Channel Snake is a snake cable with a heavy-duty low-profile "mini" steel stagebox at one end and a fanout at the other end. The box features clearly labeled side-exit connectors and fits into many places where a traditional box would be too bulky.
The cabling consists of heavy-duty, flexible Belden CM rated multipair cable. Each pair contains two twisted 24GA 7x32 polyethylene insulated conductors with 100% foil shield and 24GA drain wire.
The fanouts feature genuine Whirlwind connectors. Mic channels are numbered and return connectors are lettered by engraving the metal barrel with large, easy to read graphics.
Snake cables make it possible to combine several balanced (microphone) cables into one smaller diameter multipair cable, making setup and teardown much faster and easier, with less tangling and clutter than would otherwise be the case.

this product is built to last. the strain reliefs are solid...the connections on the snake are well built and fit all the cords I have. not the first whirlwind product I have owned...and definitely not the last.

I use this product in a Childrens Room(K-6th), as a drop snake for the main sanctuary, and youth room(6th-12th graders). It is a great, low profile snake for the budget driven. I have owned many Whirlwind products and have had very few problems with them over the years. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a reliable, and durable snake.
